Happy Friday guys and dolls!
Not only is it Friday (yay!), it’s a long (chocolate-filled) weekend too! Even though i’ve been super good this week and been following my Slimming World meal plan, i’m really looking forward to having some treats this weekend. I’ve been gathering up lots of syn info on my favourite Easter goodies so I can stay on plan and i’ve been sharing these over on my snapchat and insta stories.
We have some fun plans for the weekend including a Country and Western night (yee-haw) on Saturday and then having a little Easter Egg hunt too. Hopefully the Easter bunny will come! So, before I sign off for the weekend I have found a few fun Little Weekend Link Loves to share with you all with a bit of an Easter, Springtime theme. I hope you enjoy this weeks sweet finds!
First of all, can we just take a moment for this eggcellent cake (sorry I couldn’t help myself!). I mean, it’s just gorgeous! This Speckled Malted Coconut Cake consists of layers of fluffy white cake and a coconut buttercream frosting and you can find the recipe on Country Living.
If you’re feeling crafty this weekend why not try your hand at these fab DIY confetti eggs? Pretty easy to make and perfect placed in a bowl on your Easter table. Or, how about using them as place settings for your Easter dinner guests? You can find the easy-peasy tutorial over on Studio DIY.
If you’re gonna make a speckled egg cake you might as well go all out and make speckled egg macarons too right?! These duck egg blue, DIY easter egg macarons are just the cutest. Head over to the Lauren Conrad blog for the full recipe
Have you got your Easter baskets ready yet? Well there’s still time to whip up something sweet for the ones you love. Tessa Lindsay Garcia’s tutorial shows you how to create the perfect grown-up Easter basket. Only thing is, you won’t want to hand it over!
What do you do with all that leftover Easter chocolate? Wait, is that a trick question? Who has leftover chocolate?! Not in this house anyway ha ha! This chocolate bark recipe from Tesco is great for leftover Easter treats – add some popping candy for extra fun!
Having guests for Easter dinner? Then these free, printable napkin rings would be perfect for your guests. So simple and oh-so pretty. Simply print, cut out, thread with some ribbon and place on your napkins. This lovely Easter treat printable comes from On Sutton Place.

A little reminder for us all this weekend to put down that laptop, let go of stresses about deadlines and goals and just enjoy the Easter break.
If you are looking for somewhere to head off to this weekend, the new Avoca Store in Dunboyne is now open. My mum went to a press event there last week and ensures me it’s amazing so i’m dying to visit. I might see you there!
Happy Weekend! xoxo
