Happy Friday darlings!
It’s been a bit of a crazy week in the world but I hope you all had a little bit of sunshine wherever you are. I for one am looking forward to the weekend, unwinding a little and just spending some precious time with loved ones.
This weeks’ Weekend Link Love links were super fun to put together – there’s fashion finds, baking and of course a gorgeous cocktail for the (fingers crossed for sunny) weekend ahead!
Sometimes we truly take where we live for granted until we see our wonderful little country through the eyes (or lens!) of a visitor. For example, just how wonderful does little ole Ireland look through the eyes of (one of my favourite bloggers) Julia and husband Thomas of Gal Meets Glam? With a few summer Bank Holidays coming up I think a little road trip around Ireland is on the cards! Check out Julia and Thomas’ Ireland adventures here.

Your little daily reminder to be your awesome self.
I’ve become a bit of an Oasis fan lately so when I first spotted sneak peeks of the latest Oasis collab on social media I got so excited! Oasis have teamed up with the Museum of Royal Worcester and reimagined iconic porcelain prints to create a perfectly printed collection. Perfect for dolls who love vintage prints but have a more modern fashion style. You can see the new dreamy collection here.
Another fashion find this week but I can’t help but share this sassy Starlet Collection from Wildfox. For someone who has been obsessed with American beauty pageants and prom since I was a little girl I just LOVE this latest collection. Wildfox make the softest and sassiest loungewear around and this collection is no exception, it just screams retro pageant vibes and i’m in love.
If you don’t already know about the vintage queen of baking that is Sharon Hearne Smith then you need to fix that immediately! Sharon is the author of my favourite No Bake Baking and No Cook Cooking books which are staples on my kitchen shelf. The books contain easy peasy recipes like this amazing Blackberry Swirl Marshmallow Gateau which i’m dying to try out. Sharon, fancy popping round to mine to whip up this beauty? I’ll do the cocktails!
My gal pals and I are planning a Girls Night Out soon so planning on having a tasty little cocktail or two. Just how impressed would they be if I whipped up these beauties?! These are Prosecco, Lychee and Rose Water Cocktail and come from the French blog Cuisine Moi Un Mouton. Here’s how to make your very own…
Prosecco, Lychee and Rose Water Cocktail
- Prosecco – 1 bottle
- Lychee juice – 4 tbs per glass
- Rose water – 2 tbs per glass
- Lychee – 1 per glass
- In each glass, pour the Prosecco up to 3/4 of the glass
- Add the Lychee juice and rose water
- Place a lychee at the bottom of each glass
Happy Weekend! XOXO
